Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. Shooting to fame for his work as a character in Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as Lost Law & Order as well as many others. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma that he was diagnosed with at age 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. The cancer relapsed two years later. But, earlier treatment had a severe impact on his health and stunted growth. When he began acting, financially secure, it was the ultimate goal since he had seen poverty throughout his childhood. When he was interviewed, he said that if I don't have money security or feel out of control in the world, I'll be miserable. He thinks back to his childhood, and has a desire to take action against the bullying. He says that cruelty breaks his heart. The ideal character for him in films and in life is the father. However, he acknowledges that directors don't cast me in those roles. One day he'd love to have a kid in order to be able to dedicate more time in order to spend more time with the newborn.
